Blogging can get exhausting when you often lose track of time and end up giving all of you to the computer. A blogger doesn't practice the standard 9-5 paradigm and it’s very easy to get carried away while juggling between composing draft articles, researching, making fashion illustrations, answering emails, tweeting, Instagram posts and FB shares. It is important to flee from the physical and creative fatigue that’s provoked. Take a vacation away from earth and run away from society. Get lost in your own mind to rediscover the lost you and return with tons of adventures to look back on. Return with positive energy that can be directed towards work. It was all about breaking the routine, changing it up and doing the different - the week that was.

The week began with Pongal festivity, when I had contributed an article for The Hindu, Metroplus titled "Have Yourself A Trendy Pongal."
The festival was an intimate affair, celebrated with family and friends. Pongal was also an occasion to take a break from the regular shirt-and-trousers and instead wear the traditional costume of South Indian men, veshti - a white rectangular cloth with golden zari border tied around the waist like a sarong.
