The London Collections: Mens concluded earlier this week with plenty of fresh AW15 trends emerging from the runway. The biannual men’s fashion week largely had an androgynous feel rather than masculine. While not many men are sartorially daring enough to pull off a relatively challenging trend like androgyny, here are three new menswear trends from LCM AW15 that you can safely wear right away.

Left to right: Christopher Kane, Nigel Cabourn, Barbour and Maharishi

COMBINATION OF GREEN, NAVY AND BROWNS

Green was predominantly paired with navy and browns across most collections. While Christopher Kane combined streamline navy trousers with green 3-D graphic lattice print imagery, likes of Barbour, Maharishi and Coach worked on relaxed silhouettes in themes ranging from tropical safari to military.

ORANGE ARMY

Apart from the usual charcoal, navys and white for men, orange clearly emerged as the colour of the season, making an appearance in almost every other show. The bright and bold hue is ideal to break the monotony of neutral greys and charcoal.

WARRIOR & SUBCULTURE INFLUENCES

It's almost impossible to ignore the rich cultural heritage, subcultures, rebellion and war inspired elements at London Collection: Mens autumn/winter 2015. Burberry Prorsum in particular grabbed headlines for the usage of Indian kutch embroidered surface ornamentation.
