I was flipping through various spring/summer 2015 ad campaigns late in night and technicolor hues clearly emerged as the faovurite theme/trend among most fashion designers and brands. Burberry famously roped in supermodels Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn for their spring/summer 2015 ad campaign shot by Mario Testino. Balmain got Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to don the label's futuristic hues. And then, there were the vibrant and effervescent campaign shots from Alexander Wang.
But what makes Kendall Jenner's debut campaign for Karl Lagerfeld (shot by Karl Lagergeld himself, duh,) is the usage of accessories in technicolor hues that popped out in an otherwise monochromatic backdrop. Kendall Jenner and Baptise Giabiconi are not the kind of models who'll blend into the background and that just brings a certain balance to the composition of whole imagery. Of course, you are looking at Kendall Jenner's fringe hair-do, but your eyes are scanning the red, blues, yellows and greens.
