Most people associate fashion industry with a bunch of ridiculously dressed headstrong people with a lavish lifestyle. There are various stereotypes that can be associated with the fashion designers and editors in the industry. Indian fashion designer Raghavendra Rathore is one perfect example seeing whom anyone can conclude that those stereotypes are false and just 'made-up'.

I was at Vogue India's fashion's night out 2011 in DLF Emporio yesterday. I got a chance to meet Raghavendra Rathore just few minutes after he showcased his bridal collection 'Blue Mantra' (which was also attended by former Miss. Sri Lanka and Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez) at the event. Minutes after the fashion show, I spotted him talking to a leading fashion editor in his boutique and the fashion designer obviously seemed very busy midst one of the largest fashion get together in India. The fashion designer generously smiled at me as I walked up to him. I had a small chat with him while my friend Patrick took this photo for me.

I talked to him about the collection that he presented in the event. 'Blue Mantra' is a bridal collection with various printed and embroidered saris. When asked how he would describe the collection in one word/phrase he replied saying, "SIMPLY HERITAGE". He also told me that the collection was targeted at every other woman present there at the event.
